Photo and profile approval process:
To become an active member of our site, (where your profile will be searchable and viewable by others), you must have your profile approved. Simply click on the “edit your profile” link, and go in and modify your profile as you see fit. Once you exit the site, your profile will be queued for approval/denial. Profiles must not have any contact information in them, or they will be denied, and not visible to other members. This includes email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, coded email addresses, suggestions like “at the hotplace” etc. Your profile will be rejected if it has any one of those items. A live person reviews all profiles. Your profile (on average) will be approved within 24 hours, or sooner.
Purchasing A Premium Membership.
In order to utilize all of the features of our website, you will have to purchase a premium membership. To get to the payment screen you can click on the "Subscribe" tab, and choose one of the options available. We take credit cards through our reputable billing service 2checkout.com. Your credit card bill will say "2CO*MPLLC". Your account is set to premium immediately upon payment at 2checkout. We also accept Money Orders. (See below)
How do I remove a profile / account or stop recurring billing.
To stop rebilling: You Do Not Have to Delete Your Profile: If you paid by credit card, you simply need to send an email to support@marriedsecrets.com with name on card, and the email used at time of payment at our billing service, and your user name at the site. Simply state that you would like to have your rebilling stopped. (Note: if you haven't paid to use this site, or did not pay by credit card you do not need to do this step).
To Delete your profile: Please login and go to the "edit profile" section, as you can cancel your profile there by clicking the "profile unregister" link towards the bottom. You can also "hide" your profile, in case you'd like to keep your profile, but do not want to have an active account right now. Simply click the "put on hold" link from the Member Home section. You then can click the "Activate Profile" link at the same place to re-enable your profile. Please note that deleting your profile without emailing support, will NOT automatically stop recurring billing (this is only an issue, if you have paid for recurring billing).
Managing photos (upload or delete): To Upload your photo: go to the Upload Photo section, by simply clicking on the "My Photo" link on the sidebar, or the add photo link. Then once you are at "My Photo", simply click on one of the "thumbnails" on the right hand side of the page. You can then upload a photo. You will then be asked to browse to the folder on your computer where the photo you want to upload is located. IMPORTANT: If you want to upload a password protection photo, you must supply the password of your choice in the password box, by first changing the pictures status to "password protected" and then providing the picture's password. You use this feature at your own risk. All pictures (on average) will be approved or denied within 24 hours or less. To Remove a photo: Simply click on the corresponding thumbnail and click the associated "delete" link. You can also make a picture your "thumbnail" picture. This is the photos that shows in searches when people search for your profile. You can always delete your "thumbnail" picture by using the sidebar "delete thumbnail" link. Photos must be in a .jpg or .png format. Please Note: We do not allow any nudity of any kind. Our site advertises with upscale and quality publications etc., in order to find you quality people in which to date, and they do not allow advertisers with nude (pornographic) images on their site. Also, pictures that are of multiple people are not allowed. Due to the nature of our site, pictures showing multiple people will also be disapproved.
How do I retrieve my login information if I don't remember it?
You can use the " Forgot Password" link on the home page to have your login information sent to you. This link is just below the sign in boxes.
Money Orders :: How do I send in a Money Order or Cashiers Check?
Premium Membership - Pay by US Mail with Money Order or Cashiers Check You can become a premium member by purchasing a Cashier's Check or Money Order, and then sending that to us. Here are the options for "one-time" payment: $79 .95 - 3 Months Premium Membership $119 .95 - 6 Months Premium Membership Just follow the easy instructions below!
Step 1: Purchase a Money Order or Cashiers Check: Make payable to "Matchpoint LLC"
Step 2 - Mail Check to: Matchpoint LLC PO Box 1583 Ventura CA 93001
Step 3: Email us as soon as you send in your payment: support@marriedsecrets.com Let us know you've sent the payment, AND give us your "user name" and the email address you used to sign up with. Important! Please Include your user name with your Cashiers Check or Money Order, so there is no confusion as to who the payment is from! Note: We can only accept orders for 3 or 6 month periods. Any other amounts will be pro-rated at $2.50 a day, so please do not send in anything but 3 or 6 month Cashiers Checks or Money Orders. That's all there is to it, send in your Cashiers Check or Money Order today!
